Dearest friend , I was so saddened to hear of your passing this week - it leaves a big hole in my heart. Unfortunately I wasn't able to see you in person but it has ben wonderful to keep in touch on line. I do remember the wonderful day we spent together in Florence in the 70's and of course with you and your almost ( Sasà wasn't around then) family on our farm in the early 80's - even better with Evelyn coming to spend a day with us too. I do so treasure the friendship we had over all these years, from meeting you at Woodford and continuing on until you've sadly left us recently. I also wish to mention that my sister Margaret Ruth has been an accomplished Sculptor trained by & working with the famous Antonio BERTI, as well as being involved in numerous restorations at both the Uffizi gallery & Pitti Palace, following the disastrous flooding of Florence. All our family & friends were so very very proud of her & what she achieved. Truly amazing girl.
